Its The Products That Draws Me

Again....I got roped in...lol! And this time, not much persuasion involved. Infact, no persuasion, at all! My friend only mentioned that she'd just joined this new biz, not hoping for anything (after all those experiences) and she liked the sincerity of the person who showed her the business. Then she showed me one of the products, and asked me to try it.

I did....and lo and behold! I'm In! Its the nicest supplements that I've ever tasted. I am always attracted to health products because of the benefits it offers, but this is Out of this World! All the businesses that i joined are directly or indirectly involve in supplements and vitamins, and I did consume them, but somehow I am' consistently inconsistent'! I tend to skip taking them either by accident, or simply refuse to take it, at times. But this one, I foresee that i will not miss a day without it! :))

p/s: Am I imagining results...? lol

Whatever the business is looking like now, whatever direction it is taking, on its own, one thing for sure, I am grateful that it happened. It has certainly created a path to where we are now, and I am so happy where I am today. I am looking forward for a better future.

Silver Lining

Being in and out. No big deal. Everybody, or at least, most everybody goes through it, once, or twice, or numerous time.

But each step is a learning process, and each experience is a gain. Depending how you look at it! This morning, I just realised, how blessed we are to have gone through it.

Duplications?

Hmmm....its been a while since I update this blog. I thought it won't come back, but something prompted me to write again.

Well, fast forward to present. My upline Diamonds are now Executive Diamonds, one after the other, qualifying last year and this year. And....so is my downline! I have a downline Executive Diamond! Wow!

"What about you?" one might ask me. Moi? I was a qualified Emerald, who decided that life is more than what she thought should be. That the challenge that the business offers, doesn't commensurate with the result you might get. Its not always, true. But yes, to most cases. After a long hard days, its either you make it, or you dont. I believe anyone can make it, if you put your heart, mind and soul to it. But my heart wasn't there anymore. And my mind couldn't accept the changed and manipulated principles. My soul, I need to do a lot of soul searching....

So, for the past 6 years, I let the business go its own direction. My business, not anyone else's. I let it go on its own course. I didn't quit. But I just let the steering wheel off. The one that was driving me, day in, day out.

I will come back to that later. As of now, my downline is an Executive Diamond. I am so happy, yet at the same time, sad for them. For my uplines, however, the once high respect I have for them, I don't know where they are now. Maybe stashed somewhere. I have long forgotten about them. No offense. I have good memories, as well as bad ones with them. There's nothing personal here. Its the objectives that have changed.

Though I am proud of my downlines achievement, hey, they really did well, I symphatize with them and the rest. The ever loyal who stays Platinums, especially, and forever Golds and Silvers producers. They don't need my sympathy, infact, they might even detest it, but that's how I feel.

My upline Executive Diamond wrote a book last year, something that sounds like"When you're in the Traffic Jam, I'll be Playing Golf.." (Can't find the exact title, even after googling)

My only question is...? For an allegedly 2 to 5 years business, and after more than 12 years now, how many have duplicated you?

Writer's Block (not blog)

Its been a while since I last update my mlm Xtory. Been quite occupied with other activities and my other blogs. You could say that I'm having a writer's block now. So, I have to sign off right now. Guess my experience is far from my thoughts at the moment.. ;)

Time flies....!

Recalling the first time I ever join the mlm 'seriously', I realised it was over a decade ago. My goodness...how time flies! It seems like only yesterday that our sis-in-law shown us the business. She was all excited "You must see this business, you can travel the world first class, it has great products, you can be millionaires, and no need to sell". That last sentence caught my attention. Not that I will not join, I will join anyway coz she's my sister in law, as long as its legal and a good company anyway, but the 'no need to sell' is interesting. Hey, tell me frankly, who likes to sell? Of course later on, we ALL found out (including her sponsor) that its a misrepresentation of the business. But I would've joined anyway, regardless...support the family, you know.

Anytheway..(anyway), that's the start of my mlm experience. We called it network marketing. The future of the business. From the book Mega Trends, soon people will not shop at the malls and retail shops anymore but from their own business. (At that time, we really pity those shopowners and retail companies..hahaha). I started being a 100% user (25 products), show the business plan and attend functions religously. Read books, listen to tapes, are all part and parcel of the business. It started with all the women firsts. My uplines, my sponsor, my downlines all the wives were the active party. My husband just watch and amused. Wha....t are these people doing?

Then there's a time for an Away Weekend Seminar. Because our organization is still new and small, we had to go to overseas seminar. My husband didnt want to go and didnt want to build the business, but his older brother called him and persuaded him to go. "Let's do it for the family" he said. (Apparently everybody in the family, brothers, sister joined downline). That one changed his mind. From then onwards, he decided to build the business for the family and put all his effort in it. He's even convinced that one day he'll retire from his job to do full time.

Well, then, that was the start of my husband's journey into the business...

Last night, a friend of my hubby called him for an appointment to see this new biz, 4L.... And I told him, why do you want to see another product when we (or I) have the best in the market in our household? I took out the book by Dr Lyle McWilliams. See, Us... have 96.1% while this 4L... is only 20-40%. How can it cure Colon Cancer and Diabetes that his father has? I was rambling on while my hubby was only half listening while doing his chores. He's an old friend... he said. I'll just go and see him to catch up.

But before he left, I made sure he brings Dr McWilliams book with him, just as a reminder, or a reason not to join another new biz.

I have mixed feelings about my mlm experience. I have loved it, cherished it, hated it, cry on it, missed it, glad, grateful ...etc. etc. It has been a wonderful experience but at the same time, I'm glad that for me, I have taken a recourse in my life and set new priorities, as long as I can have a meaningful and happy life.

I am not saying that mlm business is a no-no for me. There are always good and bad in anything that you do. You choose what is best for you. I am still open to the idea as long as it does not clash with my goals and objectives in life. In fact I am still involved in the business and some others for these reasons; great products, great opportunity, means of income, and future options.

I have learn a lot about people, because mlm is a 'people business'. The famous saying "we build people" in the business. I started to be a positive thinker through the business. I see beauty in people from the business. And yet why did I leave it behind? (Not the business, but the organization/group or rather 'comradeship').

That is why I started this blog. Every now and then, I still think about it. Sometimes I smile, sometimes I cry. Whatever it is, It has left a mark in my life that is uneraseable. I will write from my heart, because I have given my heart to the business, and yet I am no longer a part of it.

Well, for now, I have a reason to smile...
